This trumpet comes with a mouthpiece in good condition and a somewhat worn case. This horn is not lacquered therefore fingerprints should be wiped off after use if the player wishes for the horn to stay as shiny as it is now–if they are not wiped off then the horn will develop a lovely patina. This instrument has been professionally cleaned in our shop and repaired to full playability. This horn comes with both its original Bb/A main tuning slide and also a non-original regular Bb main tuning slide. As for the aesthetic condition of the horn, there are a some small dings as well as light pitting over much of the horn. The valves move well, but show pitting and wear. The bell is made from French brass with a very tight bell taper and the valve casings are solid copper. This is a very unusual instrument, as it was only made for three years in 1920, 1921, and 1922.
